84 Edges is free to download and play. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to be eligible for or to win a prize.

Eligibility

Open to players 13 years of age or older. You must be at least 13 to play or to earn a prize. However, how a prize is redeemed depends on the winner's age (see "Age requirements for redemption" below).

How a winner is determined

For each active prize campaign, 84 Edges designates a specific puzzle level (the "target level"). The prize value ramps from a starting amount to a target amount over the campaign's active window. The first ELIGIBLE player to correctly solve the target level (matching all 84 edges, verified by our servers) during that window wins the prize value in effect at the moment they redeem it — see "One prize per lifetime" below for what makes a player eligible. Only one prize is awarded per campaign. The starting and target amounts for each campaign are shown in the app while it is active.

Age requirements for redemption

• Players 18 or older may redeem their prize directly in the app.
• Players under 18 cannot redeem a prize themselves. Instead, their parent or legal guardian must verify the claim on their own device — signing into the app with their own Apple ID and providing a contact email — to claim the prize on the player's behalf. The player's own account and sign-in are not used or affected by this step. The prize is awarded to the guardian's account.

Age is self-reported by the player (birthdate) at the time of redemption. See our Privacy Policy for how this information is used.

Redemption window

Once you complete the target level and tap "Redeem Now," you have 24 hours to finish redemption before your place in line expires. This includes, for players under 18, the time it takes for a parent or legal guardian to verify the claim from their own device (see "Age requirements for redemption" above) — we don't expect that to happen instantly, so a full day is given rather than a short grace period.

If redemption isn't completed within 24 hours, your place in line expires and another eligible player may claim the prize instead.

One prize per lifetime

Each individual (or, for a minor, each individual on whose behalf a parent/guardian redeems) may win and redeem only one prize from 84 Edges, ever. This is enforced at the account level and cannot be reversed.

Prize fulfillment

At redemption, the winner (or, for a player under 18, their parent or legal guardian) provides a contact email address. We use that address to arrange payout. 84 Edges reserves the right to verify eligibility (including age and account information) before finalizing any payout, and to withhold or redirect a prize if eligibility cannot be confirmed. Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to a prize.

General conditions

84 Edges reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any prize campaign at any time. Void where prohibited by law. By participating, players agree to be bound by these Official Rules, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
